As a Marketing & Event Coordinator, you will take on a versatile role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will support Ometa in organizing our 25th anniversary celebration while also contributing to a variety of marketing, sales, and operational initiatives. You will be involved in the complete preparation and coordination of the anniversary event, from structuring and maintaining the guest database to creating and sending invitations and email campaigns, as well as coordinating the venue, catering, entertainment, suppliers, and overall logistics. You will monitor deadlines, maintain oversight, and ensure all stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project.
In addition, you will support the team with marketing and sales activities. You will help develop campaigns, prepare content and communications, structure processes, and implement systems that better support sales and project teams. You will also actively contribute ideas on how to improve our internal operations, marketing approach, and event management processes. You will work closely with colleagues across multiple teams and have the freedom to take initiative, introduce new ideas, and independently drive projects forward. Thanks to your organizational skills, hands-on mindset, and creative thinking, you will help Ometa make this milestone a professional, memorable, and successful celebration.
- Build and maintain the guest and contact database
- Create and manage invitations and registration processes
- Develop and execute email campaigns and event communications
- Coordinate venue, catering, entertainment, logistics, and suppliers
- Monitor budgets, planning, and deadlines
- Support event execution on the day itself
- Set up and optimize marketing and sales processes
- Structure data and systems to support commercial and accounting activities
- Help build and improve the internal back-office environment for sales and project teams
- Support communication activities, content creation, and administrative follow-up
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience in marketing, event management, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to independently organize and manage projects from A to Z while maintaining a clear overview.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable for delivering results.
- A hands-on problem solver who identifies opportunities and gets things done.
- Creative and innovative thinker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and introduce improvements.
- Affinity with marketing, communication, sales support, events, and digital tools.
- Curious about innovation and new technologies, fluent in both Dutch and English, and comfortable working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial SME environment.
