Job Description

We are looking for a Solution Owner who will act as a crucial link between our sales and project teams. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and development of our solutions. This means conducting market research into trends and needs within specific market segments, while also engaging directly with our customers to identify gaps in their current solutions, uncover missing features, and determine areas for improvement. You will be involved in every phase of the process: from analyzing customer needs, designing solutions, assessing technical feasibility, to planning, budgeting, and overseeing releases. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable plans for our product development team. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Researching market trends and customer needs within IT software and applications. 
  • Leveraging customer feedback to continuously improve solutions. 
  • Managing the entire solution management process, from concept to release. 
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility and planning of projects. 
  • Managing budgets and planning for new releases and updates. 
  • Maintaining uniformity across all solutions to ensure a consistent approach. 
  • Integrating various solutions into a cohesive workplace environment for users. 
  • Monitoring the roadmap and delivery timelines to ensure on-time releases. 
  • Collaborating with sales and technical teams to develop customer-focused solutions. 
  • Supporting the sales team by creating a unified message and setting up a demo environment to effectively showcase the solutions. 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution management, product development, or a similar role. 
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and teams. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. 
  • Strong technical understanding to translate solutions into actionable plans. 
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently. 
  • A passion for IT and a drive to understand and fulfill market needs.
