Job Description

As a Full Stack Quality Engineer, you are the driving force behind the quality of our software products. You play a key role in the entire development process and work closely with various teams to ensure seamless releases of our applications. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end testing, combined with a keen eye for detail, contributes to meeting the highest quality standards. 

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Test Strategy Development & Implementation 
    Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies for both front-end and back-end applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities. 
  • Release Management 
    Manage and coordinate software releases, ensuring a flawless and timely delivery of new versions without compromising quality. 
  • Automation & CI/CD 
    Automate testing processes and set up continuous integration and delivery pipelines to maximize the efficiency of the development process. 
  • Production Log Analysis 
    Analyze log information from customer production environments to gain valuable insights. Derive lessons learned, discuss them with the team, and implement improvement actions to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Collaboration & Problem Solving 
    Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues early, and actively participate in the development of new features. 
  • Performance Monitoring & Root Cause Analysis 
    Monitor the performance of our applications, conduct root cause analyses when issues arise, and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences. 
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices 
    Contribute to optimizing development processes and promoting best practices in software quality within the team. 
  • Documentation & Reporting 
    Ensure clear documentation of test results, release notes, and technical reports to keep all stakeholders well-informed. 

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on quality and testing. 
  • In-depth knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React, .NET, Java, etc.). 
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Jenkins. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools. 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in a team environment. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English. 
  • A proactive attitude and attention to detail.
