In this role, your objectives include not only designing but also implementing strategies around Data Governance and Data Management. Additionally, you will be responsible for applying AI models to enhance the use of data, both within our organization and in the solutions we provide to our clients.

As a Data Governance & AI Strategy Engineer, you will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize data management processes, ensure risk management, and shape AI strategies and tools that align with our business objectives. You will take a leading role in:
- Developing policies (roadmap, tooling, and resources).
- Enhancing data integrity and compliance.
- Implementing innovative AI solutions.
By doing so, you will contribute to creating added value for both Ometa and our clients.
- Creating robust Data Governance frameworks that are ethically, legally, and technologically compliant.
- Integration with the Ometa ecosystem.
- Translating insights from data analysis into clear and relevant business strategies and client solutions.
- Taking a leading role in innovation in data- and AI-related initiatives within Ometa and for our clients:
- Visualizations
- Data mining
- Data storage
- Identifying risks and developing solutions to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Transforming advice into best practices within client and internal projects, while ensuring transparency, fairness, and security.
- You hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Data Governance and/or data consulting in a service-oriented environment.
- You possess strong knowledge of Data Governance concepts.
- You have an understanding of and interest in the impact of data and AI on industries and organizations.
- You combine technical expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capability to clearly present complex issues.
- You are a native Dutch speaker and fluent in English.
- You have experience in stakeholder management across various organizational levels.
- You are a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a strong problem-solving mindset.
