Job Description

As a Junior Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in expanding our presence in the municipal market. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to successfully sell our innovative software solutions to municipalities. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Business Engineering who wants to start their career in a dynamic and growing sector.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Identifying and approaching potential municipal clients. 
  • Actively selling our software solutions to municipal customers. 
  • Presenting and demonstrating our software solutions during demos to municipal clients and decision-makers. 
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders within the municipal sector. 
  • Understanding the specific needs and challenges of the municipal market and translating these into solutions. 
  • Supporting the sales cycle from start to finish, including preparing quotes and negotiating contracts. 
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies for the municipal market. 
  • Reporting sales results and market insights to the management team. 
  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to improve product development and customer service. 

    Qualifications

    • Graduated with a degree in Business Engineering or a similar field. 
    • Some experience or interest in sales, preferably in a B2B environment. 
    • Affinity with software solutions and technological innovations. 
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English; French is definitely a plus. 
    • Strong negotiation and presentation skills. 
    • Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions. 
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders. 
    • Proactive and results-oriented attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. 
    • A commercial mindset, the ability to work independently, and resilience against deadlines. 
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
